This is only my child's first week at Yorktown.  His classes meet twice a week on different days, and the teachers are teaching. There is not a foreign language teacher because they use Rosetta Stone, and can pick from 18 different languages.  I just met the parents of a boy who is now starting his fourth year at Yorktown, and they are very happy with the school.

My son is really enjoying how nice the other kids are, that the teachers are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is professional, yet relaxed. They seem to bend over backwards to make sure that the child and the parents are happy. I am hopeful that we continue to be impressed!

We could not be happier with the individualized learning programs that our two children have. The teaching methods are quite advanced and what most people thing the school systems will eventually get to. We have experienced 100% teacher commitment. With the quality of teachers that the school has my children have been able to greatly progress. My Senior level student is able to take community college classes with dual credits and is so much better prepared for university in the coming years. Absolutely a flexible, advanced teaching model for our children. Allows them to grow independently and thrive with much more teacher interactions.

If you are looking for an opportunity for your student to grow in an encouraging environment, then Yorktown is it.  The teachers are engaged in the total experience of learning at Yorktown.  As a parent, I want to know my child is going to be successful in the future.  This is a great foundation for any student.

I am a current student at Yorktown and think the school is phenomenal. I am about to finish 9th grade and am only 13! It is wonderful. If I have a problem, the teacher will sit down with me and help me with it one on one until I fully understand what I am doing wrong. You couldn't get that anywhere else.

I love the teachers at Yorktown! They each bring an important contribution to the team. They have a good balance of holding the expectation high, nurturing the student, and having a fun, safe environment. If you are wanting your child to graduate AND be successful in college, you need to check out this school.

Yorktown Education is an amazing private school and I would recommend it to any parent!  Students have a lot of one-on-one interaction with their teachers and they get to complete a class as fast as they want to!  I looked at other private schools in the area and I just feel that they are all shams, but Yorktown is the real deal!  Yorktown doesn't cater to the "bad" kids, but caters to the ones that want to get ahead and get into a good college.  I love it!
