Mr. Sweet has taught math at both private and public schools. He especially enjoys it when a student’s eyes light up after he has worked with them on a new math concept.

Mr. Sweet’s son and daughter are enrolled at Yorktown, because he wants the best education possible for his own children.

He graduated Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Dallas.

Mr. Sweet started his career with the United States Navy’s Nuclear Program. After leaving the Navy, he worked at Comanche Peak Nuclear Station for twenty years until he retired. Mr. Sweet realizes the importance of a solid understanding in mathematics for our next generation and obtained his teaching certificate in math so he could realize his dream of helping to shape the future of our nation by educating our upcoming leaders.

Mr. Sweet has taught math at both private and public schools and is very excited to be at Yorktown Education where children are unleashed to realize their full potential through individualized attention, and personal dedication.
