Before becoming a Senior Partner Teacher, Commander Lawrence (Larry) M. Kryske, U.S. Navy (Ret.), had over thirty years of worldwide success leading and educating men and women. He has been a career naval officer, private school administrator at the largest private school in Arkansas, strategic planner, and president of Your Finest Hour Leadership Programs, a full-service leadership development business. He has spoken nationwide and abroad on leadership, teamwork, and innovation. He has worked with over 400 corporate, association, governmental, and education clients in over 50 different industries during the past 12 years. Larry has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Astronomy from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and a Master of Science Degree with Distinction in Applied Science from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California. Larry was the first commanding officer of Naval Station Pascagoula, Mississippi, which was the Navy’s newest, most technologically modern, environmentally friendly naval base in the world. He is also author of three leadership books: Ready, BEGIN! Practical Strategies for Cultivating Courage, The Churchill Factors: Creating Your Finest Hour, and The Greatest Board in the World. He has also written a novel for teenagers, Sailors of the Sky in the Eye of the Storm. Larry is also a respected authority on the life and leadership of Sir Winston Churchill with over 40 years of study and scholarship.
