We Are Hiring
Student Ambassadors. Yorktown seeks students to work part time and spread the word. This would be for 10 to 20 hours per week at $10.00 per hour plus an incentive pay program that is expected to top $30.00 per hour. Student ambassadors are also eligible for the King Scholarship which pays for an academic year of tuition.
Teachers. Yorktown is seeking the best teachers teachers, now and in the future. Yorktown teachers must enjoy making a student's eyes light up when he or she learns a new concept. Yorktown wishes to develop a large group of teachers waiting to join the team as Yorktown grows both in the current and new geographic areas. Yorktown is seeking teachers with subject matter expertise in Math (K-12 including AP), Science (all types), Communication (English, Writing, Reading, Speaking and other skills) and World Context (History, Social Studies, Economics and other related skills). Yorktown teachers must enjoy teaching small groups while being helpful to a broader class age range. Yorktown teachers may help kids from ages 8 to 18 and focus by their own area of expertise, not by grade level. Yorktown teachers have long-term student relationships that may last many years, and they are not required to teach students who create problems. Compensation includes base and incentive pay and other payments. Teacher's children also receive scholarships to attend Yorktown. Total Teacher compensation starts at $80,000 annually and Managing Partner teachers may make over $130,000 annually.
Administration and Marketing. Yorktown is seeking administrative staff to oversee the growing business operations. This includes student tracking, new enrollments and other duties.
Chief Operating and Information Officer. This person will oversee the build-out of new schools, the installation of LAN/WAN technology and the function of the information back bones including help desk for students.
